JNTUH is created this wing to bridge the gap between industry requirements and academic delivery. UII Cell is a single point of source to the industry for seeking manpower requirement; provide students internships, summer trainings and projects. Sponsored and summer projects to faculty and joint Collaborations to bring awareness about science and technological advances. The University has good manpower expertise and modern facilities in its six constituent academic units namely: JNTUH college of Engineering-Hyderabad, JNTUH College of Engineering-Jagityala, JNTUH College of Engineering-Manthani, Institute of Science & Technology, School of Information Technology & School of Management Studies in the board disciplines of Engineering & Technology, Basic and Applied Sciences, Social Sciences and Pharmacy. The recent funding by World Bank under Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) to the extent of Rs. 26 crores and funding from various Government research funding organizations such as DST, DBT, CSIR ,UGC and AICTE have largely helped in strengthening the infrastructure in the University. The role of the UII Cell requires special mention in this context, as it is responsible for the promotion, facilitation, co-ordination, implementation and administration of all Training and placement activities for students, sponsored and consultancy projects for the faculty of JNTUH and career enhancement for industry employees. In this endeavor, JNTUH has secured a large number of clients including Central Government Agencies, Public and Private Sector Industries and Universities as well.
